About Us
At Common Ground, we believe no one should have to navigate grief alone. Our mission is to create spaces—both physical and emotional—where healing, connection, and hope can take root.
We offer a wide range of grief support services for people of all ages, including adult grief groups, family camps and events, educational workshops, and professional trainings for those who support others in grief. For children and teens, we bring grief support directly into schools—providing a safe, familiar environment where students can share their experiences with peers who understand. These programs help young people build resilience and find community within their everyday lives.
The phrase Common Ground carries deep meaning. It honors both the gathering space where our community continues to grow—Wrigley Coffee—and the shared emotional ground we stand on through loss. Grief, in all its forms, unites us as humans. Within this sacred space, stories intertwine, understanding deepens, and compassion becomes the bridge to healing.
